Also provide those you care for education on heart attack and stroke, including warning signs, recovery, and the prevention of recurrence. Those with heart disease–such as heart failure, atrial fibrillation, or heart valve disease—can learn to live well and manage their condition with education written to improve health literacy and increase understanding.
